I’ve been trying to live with the way that things have gone in my life recently. There have been quite a few changes or unforeseen things that have walked into my life. People I didn’t think would leave my life have left it, opportunities I wasn’t expecting have come in. And through all these experiences, I’ve realized a few things along the way.
Recently, I got to spend a week away from my normal life, away from the worries I normally carry with me. I was in the middle of nowhere, with minimal cell reception, and nothing that needed to be immediately addressed. I got to spend time with my family, immediate and extended, sit down and read a book with the sun shining in on me, and just sit there with my thoughts. That week isn’t one that I will forget, and not just because of events, but because of my thoughts.
You don’t always have to be living online, sometimes the best thing for you is to put your phone on airplane mode, turn social media off forget about it, and just see what the world has to offer. See what things you can find in nature. This is exactly what I came to realize while there.
My goal with this blog is to share the stuff I come across in my life. Sometimes this might be experiences, other times this may be thoughts. I want to document my life but also share it with others. My goal is to get my creations out into the world, whatever format they may take. I want to add to the conversation about life, about realizing what you have around you, and about finding enrichment in all of life’s endeavors.

Curious if your week away from normal life was time at Good Day Ranch where internet not available. I’ve hated to bring technology to GDR for that very reason. Love you and eager to read a book or two from your list.
Yes it was! I loved being able to come this year, it helped me out so much. There is more coming on that trip soon too!
